Depression
Depression and sadness can look different depending on the person and situation. Some people find themselves excessively crying for unknown reasons while others are constantly irritable or unable to find daily joy.
Together we will investigate the contributing factors to your depression, identify negative self-talk and work to increase feelings of self-worth and hopefulness.
Anxiety
Anxiety is an expected part of life, especially after living through a global pandemic. However, sometimes anxiety can be paralyzing and severely limit one’s ability to engage in the world.
We will work to manage and cope with your anxiety so you are able to live life to the fullest extent even during these unprecedented times.
Life Transitions
Some of the most exciting times in life can also cause us the most stress.
Whether it is a job change, new relationship, moving, ending or beginning school, marriage, children (to name a few) therapy can be a helpful place to process emotions, gain insight and receive support while navigating an important change.
Fertility/Infertility
1 in 6 couples will experience difficulty conceiving or maintaining a pregnancy. Infertility can be a devastating diagnosis for a couple and impact multiple areas of life and mental health.
We will explore your reproductive history and work on identifying tools to help during this difficult time. I have personal experience navigating the world of IVF and fertility treatments and will support you during this process.
Perinatal/Postpartum/New Mothers/Parenting
One in five to seven women and one in 10 men will experience a perinatal mood disorder.
It is normal to be both excited and scared during pregnancy and post birth.
I am a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C), mother to two small children and am passionate about ensuring the well-being of expecting and new parents.
